For the past 6 months or so, when I take the car out for the first time of the day/week. There is a squeak...squeak...squeak that speeds up as the car speeds up, its coming from the drivetrain or something that revolves when the car moves. Its not the engine, not a belt, and not the brakes. It does it non-stop, doesn't matter if turning one way or another or on the brakes.
It does it at pretty much all speeds until there is heat in the drivetrain, then it goes away. But it is pretty noticable from inside the car...and has to be audible from the outside too.
I called Chuck Tator last week and he advised I torque down all the wheel nuts and check the driveshaft and go from there. Once I get the car on a lift I'll look at the driveshaft.
This happen to anyone else?
Car has below mods and 50K miles.
Thanks,
Steve
