From previous posts it was indicated that stamping the oil baffle was used to get the extra clearance for the T@D RR. I was thinking of lowering the screw posts(machine shop)in the rocker cover for the extra height.

How much material from the screw posts should be removed?

Has any one tried this, or is there a better way of getting the extra clearance required, besides stamping. Do I need to re-drill the screw holes after!

Removing the baffles altogether is not an option.
Thanks for any advise.

We removed about 1/4 of an inch of the screw posts and it leaves plenty of room between the rockers and baffle. The screw holes are pretty deep and are soft, so the screw self taps.
It is really pretty easy with a Bridgeport verticle milling machine.(every garage or machine shop should have one)
