Event:
Group drive to Goliad for the Texas Mile
Meeting place:
Meet at San Antonio Coffee and Rides (Coffee and Rides San Antonio, TX ) 1203 N Loop 1604 W. Suite 121 San Antonio, TX 78258
Time:
Meet up at 8:00AM. START YOUR ENGINES at 9:30AM with immediate departure.
Description/special instructions:
The Central Texas VCA is going down to Goliad to witness the famous Texas Mile event. This is a three day event with racing all three days. We have chosen Saturday for the group drive to Goliad (03/26/2011). A.R.T. will be back again this year. If you missed it at the last Texas Mile, our friends and sponsors at A.R.T. took out their Ballista Twin Turbo Viper and broke the world record at 233.8MPH!! A.R.T. will be back to try and shatter that record yet again. You do not want to miss this.
We are meeting at the monthly local car show in San Antonio to show some Viper spirit, we usually have 8-12 Vipers show but if we can beat out the Corvette's just ONE month with attendance it would be a victory... After we get our pictures and coffee we can cruise to Goliad.
Will need group leaders and someone to bring up the tail of the pack, volunteers are always welcome to email before the event.
I plan to bring my Viper Truck again this year with a cooler in the back for your personal snacks and drinks if you choose to bring some. If you want your own cooler it can go in the back of the truck as well. This will let you avoid the long lines at food vendors. Your choice.
