In one of my auto emails there was information on this alternative to, say, 3M Paint Protector. Just thought I'd pass it on. Might be more useful to some of you than the permanent stuff.
Track Shield
A temporary paint-on coating to reduce the damage caused by gravel and track debris. Apply 2 coats then simply remove by peeling from the car. A liter should protect the lower portion of a bonnet, front bumper, and mirrors for at least 2 track days. £36.00 per 1 liter.
