Well, I learned something new today. I've hooked things up to the Viper TACH wire before with a setting of 2.5 PPR. Normally, i pull the tach signal from C3 Pin 31 (grey w/ lt blue stripe).
Well, you can also get a TACH signal from C1 Pins 1, 3, 5, 7, or 9. But here is the deal... C1 signals are a 1 PPR. This means that standard "viper calibrated" autometer shift lights only work off of the actual TACH signal... whereas the Raptor will NOT work on this. I even tried the Raptor with a 2.5PPR setting but it didn't work. So if you do the Raptor, make sure you do NOT use the standard TACH signal from behind the dash or from C3 Pin 31.
