Sounds like he'd make more money off of his recommendation as he would get to sell two units! The V-1 has front and rear sensors so you get the same coverage with only one unit. I understand there is a remote hardwire kit for the V-1 that puts the readout where you want it, perhaps above the steering wheel between the speedo/tach, or on top of the dash just below eye level? My $.02
