Do you guys feel that it is safe to say that the V-10 Nationals have really propelled the limits and performance of the viper and the tuners out there? I believe it has. Since this series has started, these cars have obviously been the fastest and most powerful vipers ever. Just in a year look how far these cars have come in the quarter! Numerous tuners out there are building awesome cars for us, the owners. Powerful and streetable. And the tuners seem to make their statements at these events.
Do you think we would have the amount of 8-9 second vipers today if this series was never started? Just watching the old Beech Bend video from 2003 really shows the progression thats been made.

I think that is true as well. In General, the effect of Competition is bringing us better and better car. I would like the Viper going back to Le Mans, the Endurance Series and others. Perhaps it's just coincidence, but the corvette made its way since the viper does not compete against.
Just my 0.02...
