Yes, that or a used one on eBay.

- If you decide to buy on eBay, make sure it is a recent model of radar detector since upgrading them is rather expensive.
- Also make sure the radar detector works in the UK. I know for sure it would not work on the European mainland (different radar waveband). The best ones for the continent are 'Stingers', made by a Dutch company.

ordered 3 of them, seems after speaking to the makers again there is no difference at all between the USA and Euro model, just need the K and Ku band for the UK, delivered to a USA viper friend
