VEC-2 for \'96 RT-10?

Excuse my ignorance but can the VEC-2 engine management system be used on a 1996 RT-10?

yes, it is vital if you are going to do mods, unless of course you pay the big bucks for AEM, others can tell you about the capabilities of that unit.

May be wrong, but the Vec 2 is for Gen 2 vipers only.

The Gen 1's have a totaly different engine management, and the AEM unit is definatly gen 2 only.

No Russ -- The first answer was correct. The 1996 RT/10 engine controller is actually a Gen 2 unit. Big plus!
