Here's an old video of a BMW racer behind Frank Parise at Firebird. Give it a lap to warm things up and Frank's gone

Yeah, the warm up lap is very decieving. Looks like the BMW is all over the Viper, until the tires warm up that is. Are there multiple tracks at Firebird? Never saw a road course have to utilize a drag strip as part of the circuit. Very interesting video. The Corvette needed that drag strip to get a way from the BMW. Was that Frank's car that was eventually wrecked and sold to Robert Dopp? Thanks for posting.

Brainerd in Minnesota uses their dragstrip as the front straight and leads into a 150+ mph turn 1 flat out in 5th gear - very exciting. Viperdays has run their twice and everyone loved it!

Firebird has 3 primary road tracks, the East, Main, and West. This video was taken on the main track which uses the drag strip as a long, fast straight that goes into a decreasing raduis left turn.

Skip has run Viper Days on the East and Main tracks. Firebird tracks There are also some more tracks in the complex that Bondurant uses (east-west layouts) for their school.

Yes, that was the car Robert bought from Frank. Robert resold it a few months ago and sold his Red Viper last year.

Oh yeah I know about Robert's red Viper. It's now my Viper :) Bought it from Tim Jelle back in June. Have done some work to it and hopefully will be doing a few Speed World Challenge events on the West Coast next year. Thanks for the info fellas. :)
