Great opportunity coming up…not to mention, later this year again twice!!! That’s right, this is a great event that combines door to door racing observing with actually track sessions for you to attend…all in the same venue! J
As you may know, on Feb. 16-17, 2008, Viper Days will have their Michelin Challenge Series race as well as their D.E. (Driver's Education) event at Texas World Speedway in College Station, Texas. This invitation is not limited to just Vipers owners. Other sports cars are typically welcomed. If you have never been to one of these events, you should know it is a whole lot of fun. In addition to watching the competition coupes compete in the Michelin Challenge Series race, you will get to drive your own car on the 2.9 mile track. If you are new at this, Viper Days will assign you to a group of like experienced drivers and provide you with an instructor. During the weekend, you will get four run sessions per day (8 for the weekend) with each session lasting about thirty minutes. The standard cost for the event is $695. However, we are currently in the process of trying to negotiate a lower price for our local group. However, the negotiated rate is going to depend largely on the number of drivers we get commitments from. Obviously, the more people we have committed, the better our negotiating power. Our goal is $400 per person or lower. Therefore, please check your calendar and see if you can attend. If you would like to be a part of the discounted group, you will need to confirm by this Friday, February 8, 2008 that you will attend the event if the discounted price is $400 or lower.
Note, please don't contact Viper Days directly until we have negotiated the lower rate. Once the negotiations are completed, you will be notified of the discounted price.
