After coming in second in the Unlimited class at Road America I was happy to congratulate Paul on his victory. I chased him throughout the event and came up short, but I was pleased by how gracious he was and I can say after meeting him for the first time that he is every bit the gentleman that he is the driver! I hope I can have a rematch in the future. Kudos to Dan for the well prepared car at the premier track in America.

Unlimited Class -----------------says alot about both of you Sonny. What Sonny failed to mention is that he had the lead for awhile, and the competition was great all weekend !!

Unlimited Class, Pfff! You get put in this class if you don't run on a Michelin tire. The real kudos here is that the car is basically stock, with brakes and tires. Paul is one hell of a driver and an even better representative of the S. Cal. fast guys!

WAR S. CAL. GUYS! AND CRAGIN PREPARED VIPERS!

Jeff we sure are missing you and your car out there. Sonny and Paul you guys are my heros. I hope one day I can be as fast as you guys. Paul it was a pleasure meeting you and Sonny as always a pleasure competing with you. The track was a blast and I am looking forward to a rematch at Putnam. Let's see less weight makes a car go a little faster, better tires, nitrous, blower, full cage, no windows, new hood. Oh well I really think it is all about pushing that brake just a wee later in the turns. Lot's of work to do, lot's of practicing to do, and by all means building a new and better race car might help a little. great and Safe two days you guys Kudos to Rob, Sonny and Paul.

Jeff, don't joke around like that. I'll go anywhere for tires. Tell you what, bring them to Pahrump for me and I'll definitely show up and show you how its done.

I would love to see ya there, and it would be a lot of fun.

Jeff,

You know it wasn't a cheesy grin it was the wind blowing my mouth farther open as you galantly happened off the track. Looks as if I am going to miss you guys at the Glen, taking my pace car duties pretty seriously. Now if someone is willing to transport my car from Sebring to Watkins Glen then I will be all over the opportunity to race for two day Monday and Tuesday. Basically I need someone to help me with the driving. Who knows it's a chance I will still make it to the Glen. You know it's become a disease. All I want to do when I grow up is Race, Race, Race.

Bernie -

I know you take your pace car duties seriously, but let's face it - you love to drive. It's my bet that you are going to find some way to get to Watkins Glen. I hope so because it's been a blast watching our rivalry bring the lap times down. You are generous with your instruction on the track and are always willing to give rides to corner workers or spectators. Hopefully someone reading this will be generous enough to help you out with some transportation - it won't be the same without you!

Good Luck

Sonny,

You are the best. I think it would be great to be at the Glen, I hear it's a blast of a track. I will work on trying to get their but it is a long way away from Florida. If I can't make it their hopefully you will have some other stiff competetion from Jeff Ellison or maybe Rob Williams. Needless to say it won't be the same. See you at Putnam, have a great weekend with the beemers.
