I'm sure someone out there has performed this operation and can provide some insight before I start from scratch.

Can't talk much now, got to get back to the "Brakes 101" thread ... (could someone pass the popcorn?)

Thanks in advance.

Northwind Engineering:

1" seat lowering kit (installed this one)- easy to install - seat retains full fore and aft travel. Nice design

2" seat lowering kit (no experience) - seat loses ability to more forward and back.

So, I guess it's a question of how much you want it lowered. Kits are not inexpensive, but well designed. No since starting from scratch.

Good luck. Back to Brakes 101.....
