I still like:

"Hang on for your life tonight." 1982 from a band named Shooting Star.

The second verse goes like this:

"Well I got 400 horsepower and the road up ahead is clear
gonna take this car of mine and shove it into gear"

Now please tell me something that fits better than this?

Aside from White Zombie, as mentioned by BLKNBLK95RT, who the heck are those other groups? Deep Purple? Must be New Age or completely old-school. The Cult, Cold, Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, etc. Post-1980's music just seems to fit the car better.

best of Van Halen cd is my vote
seeing that the viper allows only one cd at a time
load it and forget it.. just drive and enjoy!!
Every song rocks!!

Steely Dan's Deacon Blues:

"I crawl like a Viper
Through these suburban streets
Make love to these women
Languid and bittersweet
I'll rise when the sun goes down
Cover every game in town
A world of my own
I'll make it my home sweet home "

This will certainly show my age, but there was a
really great song that I remember hearing as an
infatnt. I forget most of the words except for the
last line.........
"How do i get this little Nash Rambler out of second gear ?"

Pick up a Danzig track called "She rides". Now THAT is a cool bluesish song...makes me think of a viper's hold on it's owner. SW's Magic carpet ride (techno or std.) is also a fun one. Black sunshine is about a mustang so it doesn't count ;)

Whoa whoa there man, that wasn't ment to be an insult... chill.
Yeah, his nuckes were white with desire... True death, 400 horsepower exploding on the highway like a slug from a .45.
I go way back being a zombie fan.

I wasn't trying to piss you off, sorry if I did. Stay cool bro..

Ya, Old guy here, and like the Led Sled ( Zeppelin ) tunes, Steppenwolf ( Magic Carpet Ride ), and ZZ TOP,but.............
Rage Against the Machine, Metallica, Collective Soul ( early CD's), Cake, all sound great !! Let's go to to obscure though, as my all time favorite in the Snake is , " Prodigy !" This CD just hammers all the way through.

The Stones and "Start Me Up is great and of course Steppinwolf's Magic Carpet Ride," or the newer version, which is the background music from the Viper commercials. That one is most associated with the Viper right out of the box! Deep Purple did "Smoke on the Water", just for the "Newbies". That was a huge hit back in the sixties.

Hey Robert, great Avitar, love the background scenery! Where was that picture taken, just beautiful. The Nash Rambler song was about a Cadillac and a Rambler going up to 120, and the Rambler still couldn't get out of second gear. Forgot who made the song, but it was called "Beep Beep", I believe.

Robert's avitar could have been taken at Kahilipali Point on the Big Island. Hey Brah, you buy that Viper so the Night Marchers can't catch ya?

Actually, Smoke on the Water was on Deep Purple's "Machine Head" album released in 1972, not the 60's.

1) Prodigy - firestarter
2) Sepultura - Refuse, Resist
3) Bob Marley - Jammin'
4) Stephin Wolf - Magic Carpet (Crystal method remix)
5) Fear Factory - Cars (cover)
6) Led Zep - Imigrant song (live)
7) Kiss - Detroit Rock City
8) Hendrix - Castles made of sand
9) Crystal Method - Keep hope alive
10)Staind - Been a while
11)Static-X - Bled for days
12)Disturbed - Voices (ultra cool song)

Us "younger generation" isn't all hip hop and that happy-go-lucky teeny crap. I was raised on old school metallica and bands like the Who and deep purple. Lets not forget Zappa ;)

Easy - Judas Priest - Painkiller

Nothing but pure adrenalin...

That song will wake you up in the morning better than a large coffee an a kick in the balls.

Later..................

All good choices... Don't forget Guns 'N Roses You Could Be Mine. For obscure how about Buck Dharma's That Summer Night. Also we missed the obvious with Sammy's I can't Drive 55.

BAKNBLK:
I play jackson's mostly. Modified bridge w/ EMG-81's. Interesting sound...thats my most used guitar. I play everything from Blues (Gibson 335) to classic rock (Amer strat) and loud heavy S*ht (Wash Dime, ESP, Jackson).

How 'bout Motley Crue's "Kickstart my Heart". Top fuel viper is the drug for me!

Shooting Star's Hang on for your Life is a great one.

Anyone remember that rockin' band called April Wine? Oooowatanite. (Had to bring it up Steve

)

Sammy Hagar, Van Halen and Stevie Ray are also great cruisers.
