I'm curious to know approximately how many Viper owners are in the Houston and surrounding area? I will be coming from Virginia in a few weeks and would like to attend the next gathering in that area.

Where in Virginia are you? Do you have your Viper up here? There are a number of us around here that get together time to time in the Fredericksburg area.

I'm in the Southeast Houston area, actually Pasadena. A lot of the locals will be at the event in College Station (about 90 miles from downtown Houston) next weekend at the Texas Motor Speedway. Otherwise, your guess is as good as mine. If there's enough interest, we can put together an "unofficial" meeting.

My Viper is back home in Texas. I am right outside of Newport News, VA. I wish I did have it up here, I'm dying to drive it!!!

I wish I could attend the College Station event but I'll still be in Virginia. If you guys in the Houston area would like to tentatively plan something for the 1st part of March that would be really cool. I am from the Lake Jackson area (actually Jones Creek).

We'll stay in touch and plan something soon. :drive::2tu::headbang:

When I was pres of Houston VCA there was over 200 local cars and about 60 in the club. That was 7 years ago. I think Texas is the fourth largest viper state behind CA, FL and New York area.

Great to see so much interest from new Viper owners in Houston. Last count was about 45 members, but we have a number of new members in the last quarter, so the count is probably up to 50-55 paid members, about 20% showing up at most events.

Viper Days in College Station will have a lot of attendance. Even if you don't sign up to drive, it would be a fun day trip to watch all the activities. Most of us will be there Friday through Sunday.

Would any of you guys not signed up for Viper Days be interested in a cruise to College Station for the day? That would be a fun day because Viper Days is Viper owner's paradise.

In March we will have a cruise and election of new officers. Will announce via email and in the Houston region section of this forum. Hope to see you all there so we can keep the club growing!

Jim
