Car - check!
Trailer - check!
Safety Gear - check!
I think I got everything covered now Ryan!!
Have you changed out your brake fluid to a synthetic?
Oh, sure Bruce......bring up the ONE THING I still have to do!! I will probably flush everything a day or two before just so it's as fresh as fresh can be.
You will have a blast that weekend.
What's the you will have a blast that weekend, Bruce, I thought you were going to be there with Speedy Carmen Carracer !?
I can not get out of work on Saturday, but plan to be there on Friday for most of the day.
This is one of my favorite events too.
So come down Friday, leave Carmen with us, go to work on Saturday and come back and get Carmen on Sunday ----- we will all take good care of her!!
I know it's still a week away but the weather looks like sunny and 80*.....
(We are at 97* today in STL...)
Looks like 4-5 of us coming from STL...
Yeh, I was just looking at the forcast last night and it looks too good to be true!! I am dying for Thursday to get here so I can hit the road!
I am working up in Mankato Mn. this week and might run over Friday and spend the day Saturday. I have my safety equipment any second seats open?
Does anyone know if the track sells Sunoco GT-100 Unleaded Race Fuel? I looked at the MPH website but didn't see fuel pumps mentioned. I would be nice if they have it, then I won't have to bring my own.
If I remember correctly, they do have race gas for sale. I'd check with George just to make sure though.
Are the sign ups over? When is the absolute last day?
If you have to, you can sign up when you arrive, but I am sure George would appreciate advanced warning.
Any caravans planned from the Denver area? I am leaving work a little early and will head out at around 4pm. Wishing I could leave earlier, but just couldn't.
Oh, and I am bringing the Wife for her Birthday to her 1st ever Track event. Hoping I can give her a ride of her life. (in the car - get out of the gutter ) I may ( cringe, bite nails) might even let her take a spin on the track if there are instructors available. She has only driven the Viper once and never left 1st gear.
Looking forward to the weekend for sure.
Is 93 octane readily available in NE? This may sound like a silly question to some but it's not available in OK. I found that out when I went to Hallett.
There are some Phillips 66 stations that sell 93, but it is 10% ethanol also.
Well, we had a great turnout last month in Hastings. 31 cars in all made the trip to MPH. I am sorry for the delayed update, but I hope this will spur a little conversation from others that were there.
I will post some pictures on this thread later. Until then, here is a link to all of the photos.
The event had a great turnout from folks in Colorado and around St. Louis. Hopefully the track time will help folks this coming weekend as NARRA/Viper Days is at the track. Should be another good turnout and still not too late to sign up --- put down " Freemember" for the code and skip having to pay the $25 member dues for this weekend !!
