does anyone know why the viper does has runflats?
i know that the vets flirted with the idea of a runflat system
it sure would solve all my trunk space problems!!!

You can bet that these tires will be substantially heavier than the Pilots or the Sports. The feature that allows them to run flat will add mass to the tire. Does anyone know how much weight they will gain?

If I remember correctly, DC does not recommend driving with the spare tire/wheel removed. They say the safety ,if involved in a rear end collision , is compromised . I guess the spare tire/wheel is supposed to absorb part of the impact..
Just thought I would pass that along.
Cheers,
Scott
