I looked on the website but no information. In regards to the track events , autocross etc. What are the equipment requirements. My 94 is plain stock. I also do not own a hardtop. Are you allowed to run with no hardtop, no five points? If so what events? BTW, my wife, who I promised a Hawaii trip for our 10th anniversary told me a few days ago she would rather go to VOI, if and only if she could drive the viper in the driving events. Hee Hee. I married up! Fortunately this is in the genes! Her family is full of gear-heads.

Little story:
Next door neighbor stops by one day...

N: Hey Ron, saw Lauri in your Viper the other day.
R: Really? Where at?
N: Well on Kolb Road. You should have seen her fish tailing around the corner
R: Really? That must have been me. I don't think Lauri drives like that
N: No it was her. She did quite a squirelly turn
R: Hmm, I think your full of it. It had to be me. I am the only one that drives like that
N: Nope....

Neighbors wife drives up.....

N: Hey Lynn, who did we see in the Viper the other day?
NW: Oh wow! Lauri. You should have seen her fish tailing around the corner!

R: Grrrrr....

I believe, as speeds will be somewhat controlled that you won't need a thing. DC provided loaner helmets in the past , and Instructors. If, on the other hand, you want to participate in the Viper Days event during the convention, you will need a SA95 or newer helmet, fire extinguisher, and a hardtop. Hope this is helpful.

I asked VOI if I needed to run with my hardtop on.
They answered no I do not need the hardtop
but I do need a helmet. For VOI7
