Does DC's 7/70 powertrain warranty have any limits in terms of number of owners (I'm the third)? Is there a deductible?

My basic 3/36 will expire in March, 2006, and I'm trying to make an informed decision regarding an extended warranty.

Thanks in advance............

My 2004 came with a 7/70 powertrain, and I believe all 2003's did as well. The 2005's have std. 3/36's...

I believe the 7/70 is only transferable once, so you may be out of luck. Hopefully a dealer rep will chime in.

I just bought a new 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland and they only offer 3/36 now. They told me that DC did away with the standard 7/70 warranty as of 2006.Hell I bought my viper because of the 7/70 warranty.

I checked with my local Dodge Dealership this morning and here's what I learned:

SRT 10's built prior to October, 2003, have the 7/70 warranty on the car itself, irrespective of how many owners it's had.

SRT 10's built subsequent to October, 2003, have the 7/70 warranty applicable to the initial and second owner only.

The 2006 SRT 10's will have only the basic 3/36 warranty.

If my information is incorrect, please advise..........

I just got a card saying my bumper to bumper will expire, but my 7/70 will live on (1/03 SRT). So now I'm wondering if I need to do anything at all... The only problems I had with the 97 that were expensive were A/C related, so maybe I get the cheapie warranty... Anyone have leads on dealers that will offer a cheap warranty?
