I hope everyone is finding little items for the Washington club's Christmas/Holiday party. The date that looks to be 99% confirmed is November 20th.

Not going to let the cat out of the bag just yet but I can tell you that we will have a special guess visitor in attendance. Just this visitor alone will not only increase attendance but will probably bring in more people from neighboring regions.

Stay tuned for updates as they develop.

If we are going to have greater attendance, we need a bigger place than last year for sure.
With this "guest" attending, will we still have a gift exchange? (and show an outsider how we REALLY act?)

When will we know who this guest is? It's less than a month away!!!

By popular demand the return of the white elephant gift exchange will be featured. Please wrap a $20 gift for each guest that wants to participate and write on the name tag for “Guy”, “Gal” or “All”.
(For those who take this game way too seriously, you may want to bring tennis shoes.)

Business casual or holiday festive attire suggested.

Thank you Bill, Steve, Karla and everyone else that helped make this party one of the best we have had.

From the "wheel of prizes", fantastic rare videos, the charity auction, the stories from Herb Helbig and Cindi Lux and the great Q&A session to the best version of the white elephant gift exchange EVER!

-- Congratulations to Dr Bob for winning the shirt reserved for the team involved with the initial 1996 Dodge Viper GTS Indy 500 pace-car which was then signed by the Grailkeeper himself Herb Helbig.

Some of the exchange items were obviously way beyond the $20 in fact I would image all were at least double that suggested value.
For those that didn't attend some of the gift exchange items included a shirt and $50 off at Lux Performance, a rare Viper pin, several bottles a wine, a huge full function remote control car.

We also got a tour of the barn that was originally built in 1927 and has now completed restoration to meet current earthquake standards but still maintain the original look and feel.

Lastly the food, wow, once again some of the best around and plenty for everyone! It was amazing how the table conversation almost completely stopped when the food was served.

Our out of state special guests asked me to also pass along their thanks for including them, they did enjoy the opportunity to spend time with the club and meet so many wonderful Viper owners.

Thanks again team, you should be proud of yourselves! Not sure how you managed to hold off the snow until the next morning but that too was appreciated!
