Ok...need some more brains to pick this one...
99 GTS, I'm getting a intermittent miss-fire on the right bank (1). I know because #1 I can hear the tone, and #2 my wide-band goes pig rich on that bank.
I want to say its #9 but do not know for sure. I have MSD wires, and replaced them with a new set of MSD's....same issue. I have changed spark plugs (about 4 sets
), also have dielectric grease and cleaned the connectors on the coil packs.
I can be driving down the road just in cruise conditions (not flooring it or anything) and feel the hesitation kick it, and I see it on the bank 1 wideband.....if Im lucky, it goes away; if not I have to pop the hood and tug slightly on the plug wire loom. I can go for weeks, then bingo! comes back. It almost feels like it happens with road conditions (bumps, hard turns), but I cant say it 100% because it has happened just cruising down the freeway (might have hit a bump though...?).
Im a little frustrated @ this point. Im wondering if its a coil pack issue....
Ideas?!
Thanks
