That is your wire harness for your speakers that go to your stock Alpine Amp in your trunk. Looks like someone taped it up with tape. I bet you had an after market stereo in your car when you bought it and it was replaced with the stock one when you bought it.

i have the same wire, but my wire is CLEAN, no tape or glue anything on it, just the cable...but it's at the same spot
