What to do with old foggy headlights?

I replaced my '94 headlights with eBay specials that were repaired from an accident. They are OK (some scratches and dents,) but I had to do something because mine were yellowing, foggy, and night visibility was pretty poor. The car has 74,000 miles and is outside 100% of the time.

Now that I have them out, what to do with them? The clear plastic doesn't seem to come off the black plastic housing. Even if it did, how can the clear plastic be refurbished? Any suggestions? Thanks.

Tom:

die grinder with plastic buffing compound. They will look like new. It is the UV protective coating that yellows/clouds. You will have to put the plastic protective film over them when you are done.
