I have the opportunity to buy a set of 18" Forgelines for my SRT-10 well below normal price. I know they were made specifically for a viper, just not sure what generation. Is there any difference in offset between the different generations??

Thanks for the help!

Not sure about the offsets, but if the wheels are all 18s I think you will need an e-brake relocate kit.

I can tell you for a fact that my 19" Forgelines that I had bought for my Gen II 3 years ago would not fit my Gen III. The rear wheel would not seat and the primary brake caliper was the problem. I didn't even try the front after the rear wheel hit the brake caliper.

Hmmm. I think that answers my question. Wheels are not interchangable from generation to generation. I know I will need an e-brake relocation kit. But now I also need to get absolute confirmation that the wheels I'm looking at where made for a Gen 3.

Thanks.

Wheels made for a Gen III will work on a previous generation. Unfortunately those made for Gen I/II may not provide the necessary clearance to the brake caliper or line. I had a set of HRE's which I had to resell due to the brake line interference. It is not the offset but the clearance from the spokes that counts.
