Ok, need some help here, wanna make sure I do this right.

Just got my Stopteck bb kit, looking for lighter weight wheels than stock or track wheels now:)

Any thoughts/opinions on wheel sizes I can run?

In the past have run 18's all around, same size tires front and back (or 305f/335r)

What about clearance on running a 335 up front on a GenII?

thanks:D

CONGRATS on the ST-4BB Kit !!!

Not Lowered? 335 "bigfoot" fronts No Prob on TRACK.... parking lot spaces are a problem (Lock-To-Lock) Will prob require a re-align. Prefer 315 F ....

But DO NOT put a 335 on a 10" wheel....must have 11" or more.

We have some NEW Forgeline ZX3R 18" ready to ship, under $3k.
And a used set of 6 Kinesis (4 rears) 18"
And a used set of SSR 18"

All have 11" fronts

and we have 305 F, 345-18 R track rubber now......$1349/set

Dang Leslie, great minds think alike! My Stoptech BB kit will be delivered tomorrow and I have been wondering the same thing. I have been talking with JonB about this and whatever he recommends, I will go with. I am looking at CCW wheels and PS2's.

Explaining Viper things to you
I would find some way to borrow a set before you buy 335's. Here's a pic of a 295/19 (about 3/8 wider and taller than stock) on my non lowered car at static ride height and they almost are touching at lock.

IEATVETS-got my shipment today, I really like the PS2's and might stay with them, tried NT05's and they are great just don't last very long haha.

dave6666-that makes sense! I am running 295/18 up front now, I see a lot of Vipers at the track with 335 f/335 rear, just wondered how they were doing it, sounds like JonB suggests 315.

With a lowered Gen 2, 335 are a problem in full lock, and some 315s may rib a tiny bit at SLooow.

315 will be OK at track speeds and track turns....the clerance issue is at lock-turns as in aiming for a a parking space. The 315 may reb ever-so-slightly in full lock, so you have to back-off the steering. No problem at speed, who uses lock-turns?!

Jon,

Are you using stock offset on 11" up front for 315 wide? Even though they rub a little, the turning circle is barely affected, right?
