When you\'ve got parts to sell, where to list them?

I've got alot for sale but am not allowed to post here in the SRT forum (although the two times I did, I sold immediately). I've been told by the moderator to use the Classified section but I've found it to be cumbersome and in the times I've used it, It has generated exactly zero responses. Certainly there is a place to go...

I know a lot of us own parts/accessories that we peddle when we no longer need them. Where do you go to sell them? E-Bay? I've got alot to get rid of and hate the idea of ten separate posts..

I sold all of my take-off parts quickly on Ebay and for good money.

Your experience is similar to mine. A note here and ebay gets the most attention. Or just a note here. Jay deleted a post of mine on the SRT forum for a shift knob. I since posted a classified which generated 1 inquiry.

Thanks for the replies.. I guess I'll just post them on ebay and eat the fees.. I have all my MGW stuff, Car Cover, RB1 NAV, Sirius, Harness, DB650, Covertible top cover, and flywheel to get rid of so I'll have quite a few posts...

It is definately easier & better to post in here. The Viper Classifieds (unless a Viper) do not generate the emails, leads necessary to sell your parts. You might want to let people know that you have a listing in the classifieds.

The BEST bet, and something that has been allowed since the dawn of time.....OK, for a long time anyway: Put your ad(s) in the Classifieds. VCA Member? It is FREE!!! Not a VCA Member....maybe should be??? One thing that Jay, Chris, Joe, et al have allowed is for VCA Members to post a "shout out" with a link to their VCA Classified. Need help adding a link? I'll help.

I am a VCA member.. I tried the link method with a post titled "For Sale : Form Fit Car Cover" and it was deleted the same day with no notice, email, or anything..
