window crack???

the cars been in the garage all week. not even sat in, let alone driven. i get in it now, and there is a crack in the windsheild. about 6 inches, coming from very bottom of windshield in front of steering wheel, goes up about 3 inches, then curves another 3. what could cause this? it was not there last time i drove it. could it have been a very small crack, too low on the glass to see, and it is spreading?

Have you had any large temp changes? If so that could cause the small crack or chip to become larger.

no kids, no temp change, no spanking. service mgr at dealer says sounds like stress crack, and may be covered under warranty. ( i think the car must be stressing from me not driving it this week)

I'm stressing from you doing that to the car! I hope the dealer covers it. they might, actually, just to be nice. either way...

i'm taking it to them next friday for them to replace the door handle switch, so i called Roberto (serv mgr) and he said he will have a new glass there, and will do it at the same time.
ain't hard????? you serious??
