Z06 vs Viper

It's always interesting to me to hear about other peoples impressions. What track(s) are you going to where the stock Zo6 is doing mid 12's. I haven't seen one break into the twelves and I go to Raceway Park Englishtown, NJ where I believe the track to be a very good track. Granted, I dont get there as often as I'd like to yet and haven't seen too many Z06s run but never the less haven't seen one get into the 12's.

I watched fairly stock Z06 vettes running mid 12's all day at
Carlsbad drag strip a few weeks ago. Not a great track at all.
These cars ranged from cold air only to some with headers and drag radials. The best I ran (which was in the heat of the day)
was a 13.200. It was my first day out on a drag strip and my car
only had 680 miles on it. I have since added a Ripper shifter and
I already had a cold air intake. I'm going back in a couple of weeks and I will be disapointed if I don't hit the mid 12's.

I also know stock or close to stock Gen II Vipers can hit high
11's. It's all about traction and the driver.
