    for a few thousand more canadian? definitely the acr over gts due to the reasons stated above. even if you really race the car then keep the stock parts and retain the collectibility (though perhaps as mentioned way down the road). if you don't race the car then put EBC green pads on...

    Which cars come close to being better than Vipers?

    easy, an srt-10! bang for the buck the viper has power, handling looks. hard to compete with. as far as distinction and handling the lotus elise comes to mind. i'm not sure what the availability is here in the us these days. I consdidered responding with the usual z06, m5, e55, 993 TT, etc...
