I'm sure someone with some knowledge can copy a set of B&B's and make a killing selling them for $800. Anyone out there that can do this?
China can!
I have been using Satisfied Pro Perform OEM pads from Tire Rack for street use only and they are almost dust free. With my old original pads I got about 50 miles between cleaning. With the new pads I only have a slight residue on the rims every 200 miles and it is only a white/grey color not...
by the way. has anyone ever put flowmasters on a viper?
I put Hushpower II on with high flow cats. No problems with installation. Slightly louder that stock. It sounds good.
You may want to check if your company covers damage to you car in the case of a fire in your garage. On my policy the damage to the car is not covered under the home owners policy. Just a thought.
I had a S-type for four years and had no mechanical problems at all. The resale value wasn't any different than any other car I have owned. I will probably buy a '07 XKR. It does everything my 645 does at half the price.
Re: Can\'t resurface the Flywheel ? Why not ?
The flywheel is shimmed to compensate for the amount removed by resurfacing. I am not aware of a vendor that supplies them for Vipers. A Viper racer like Roe probably knows where to get them.
I have used the product that Roe sells. I purchased mine from one of our industrial supplier about 2 years ago. I works great. I banded it over the exhaust the way it is shown in the Roe picture.
I am in the process of replacing the head gaskets. I have removed the nuts and washers holding the heat shields in place on the exhaust manifolds. How do I get them out without destroying them.
