    I need some paint advice

    I think Mr. Whittier is absolutely correct. A base-coat/clear-coat should not by any means start to peel on it's own. As a professional painter and a true lover of fine automobiles, in my opinion it would be tragedy to put a "single" stage paint on a viper! It's all in the prep! DV

    Rumor has it a Viper was just clocked on a State Route at 191mph ! !

    Amazing ! Just got a second hand call that a particular black w/red stripes & RED Lips was just clocked at 191 mph in the Silver State Classic. Time was something like 34 minutes for the 90+ mile race. Good Luck you two, let us know the final results as soon as you can! DV

    Deep freezing rotating parts - cryogenic treatment

    Any metalurgists on board? We have been doing some basic research on "freezing" rotors, pistons, tranny parts, etc. "They" say it refines the grain struture of metals at the atomic level, by cryogenicly freezing to -300F. Makes for a denser and smoother surface. Any thoughts? DV
