rcl, things look very promising for those of use that are waiting on the '08; moreover for those of us that have a standing order for Mopar performance parts! ;) What say you?!

I agree the potential is exciting; I am looking forward to doing "before-and-after" dyno runs on my 2008. Unfortunately, my local dyno shop uses a Mustang dyno instead of a dynojet so I expect mynumbers will be a bit lower but I am mainly interested in seeing the net effects of adding the Mopar headers and myBelangr exhaust. I wish that Mopar, K&N or some other reputable company would come out with a cold air intake soon so I could get that installed on the car before my "after" dyno run.

Although, now that I think about it, would a CAI even make a difference on a dyno where the car is not moving and therefore no ram air effect? Do you know the answer to this?

MTI is here in Houston, they are a very reputable shop that specializes in mostly GM vehicles. A few of their customers also have Vipers, several of them also have SRT Hemi cars.

Motorsport Technologies, Inc.

They have built a few engines for me, top-notch work.

They are available now. I ordered mine from Parts Rack:

:omg: Great numbers!

MTI is very reputable for their work. Talk to David Coates. They tweak on Vipers as well from time to time...Not mine:nono:

They are good guys. Did some work on a '03 Vette for me a few years ago.

One of the guys is a big fan of Vipers, and had a Gen2 that was 2x turbo and built up to dyno at something like 1100 hp ... ... right before it went 'boom'

Are those 3" collectors? Also, what manufacture?

rtigert --

Sorry, I put the headers back in the boxes after I took these pics so I don't know the size of the collectors. The manufacturer of the headers is Belanger.

Bill Pemberton or anyone else who has these in stock, do you know the answer to the collector size question?

They have been the #1 GM tuner in Houston for well over 10 years now. I'd say it is a safe bet they'll be around. Talk to David Coates over there, he is a big fan (and former owner) of Vipers.
