How about the weights of the razors, the five spokes, and the H spokes compared????

I second this question. I have heard that the 5-spoke wheels are slightly lighter than the original 10-spoke rims that came with the 2003-2005 cars but have never seen any exact weight measurements.

Yea we need to get this done ... this question comes up every month or so and i also have not seen any exact wheel weights on the 5 spoke, hrim and razor

SO i have an extra set of 5 spoke sitting in the garage with no balance weight...funny thing is tho i don't even have a bathroom scale so i'll buy one today and weigh the rims....ALSO i have a set of h rims coming in a month or so and will weigh those as well...

OKAY fresh from the research lab... remember this data was taken with an ambient temp of 70 , humidity 60% , nominal cross wind

5 spoke weights front 26.8 lbs
rear 33.5 lbs

sidewinders have been reported on here before as 17/26 lbs

weighed some other stuff

Stock rotor 25 lbs
Stoptech front 17.4 lbs
(drilled)

SO going from stock 5 spoke to sidwinders is a 36lb difference approximately
going from stock rotors to stoptech is a 30lb difference approximately

i 'll weigh the h rims when i get em and also weigh em after chroming

Sidewinders are quoted by SRT as weighing 34lbs (per set) less than the old 10-spokes. I think 8lbs per wheel less in the front, and 9lbs per wheel less in the rear, so you may be able to calculate some differences from that.

Also, you may want to go back and weigh the 5-spokes again, because it sounds like the set of 4 is 2lbs heavier than the old 10-spokes.

OK i did use a regular bathroom scales but i bought it today and made sure it was zeroed and accurate...i even experimented at the store to make sure i got the most accurate.... i would repeatedly get on and off the different scales(about 7 of em) to see which ones was consistent and then i gradually lowered my weight (unloaded my wallet then keys then shoes) to see which scale was most sensitive.

OK i checked with the partsrack website and it states the stoptech rotors are 355m x 32mm which according to the stoptech website
http://www.stoptech.com/products/img/0605AeroRotorDataSheet.pdf
are supposed to weigh 15.2 lbs.... my scale said 17.4 lbs.....

i also took one of my wive's 10lb hand weights and the scale read 10.2lbs

maybe jon at partsrack can weigh one of the 10 spokes he has and give us an official stoptech rotor weight

Wallbanger --

That Stoptech data is for the rotor alone without the cenetr aluminum hat. I weighed my Stoptech Aerorotors before I installed them and got 17 lbs per rotor.

On another thread (regarding lightest 18/19), JonB states that the 5-spokes are 25 lbs heavier than the 'Sidewinders' and the old 10-spokes are 34 lbs heavier. That puts total weights at:

Sidewinders (set of 4): 86 lbs.
5-spokes (set of 4): 111 lbs.
'Honda' spokes (set of 4): 115 lbs.? (my guess)
Razors (set of 4): 118 lbs.? (my guess)
10-spokes (set of 4): 120 lbs.

... but I LOVE the look of the Razors
