Easily the most disgusting wheels I've ever seen on a Viper - ever.

My Asanti wheels finally came in...here are some pics...the Pirelli P-Nero tires seems to stick better in first gear than the factory Michelins :)

Sorry but your car now equals an EPIC FAIL!!!!! :rolaugh:

Well, there were over 100,000 people in the US that thought the Pontiac Aztec was good looking enough to spend over $20K for it. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, even blind ones.

Looks like someone threw 4 starfish in heat on those wheels. Nice car though.

Those wheels look horrible on your Viper............sorry.

Thank god the voices of reason have arrived to get this thread back to the reality of those abysmal 'rimz'.

Sheesh! You guys are rough. I agree, they're not my cup of tea at all. Still though, should try to be a LITTLE more respectable to a guy, no? I'd expect this kind of blatant bashing on a Honda forum, or even the 350Z forums...but definitely not from the Viper crew.

To whomever made the statement about young kids and rap music = big rims.... C'mon man, that type of stereotyping is NOT neccesary at all. :bonker:

This thread has gotten way off track, and I expect an apology.
You guys have something against sheep?
Probably never had one, and yes I'm speaking from experience.
Signed,
BAAAAAAAA

No, sorry, never liked Asanti wheels on a Viper, and even though its not my car, and I didn't buy them, I still don't like them.
Signed,
Macho, Macho man

Like it or not, the general concensus is that this is exactly where the big wheel for style, not function fad came from.:dunno:

The really funny thing is seeing middle aged guys trying to copy it with larger versions of the same wheels last seen on late 80s and early 90 Trans Ams.:lmao:

No worries Dave. Nuke is another internet rookie. Standard minor league replies, backtracking rhetoric and the usual "all the pm's I've gotten" bs. How many times have we seen these 20-somethings come along trying to compete in the big boys? In a year or two he still won't have 1000 posts and he will sell his Viper for the latest fad of the day. But while he is here let's have fun. :D

20-somehtings? . . . I have to find me a younger wife! 1000 posts in two years, unlikely. You post, I'll drive. Just hit 106,000 this weekend and still going strong. Chuck Tator checked out old red last weekend (I'm talking about the car, not the wife) and gave it the "all go" for another 106,000. I'm not sure what you mean by competing "in the big boys" but certainly involves activities at the type of bars I do not frequent . . . . well, at least not very often.

respectable miles :2tu:,

you and chuck may end up buds,

albeit a love hate kind of relationship

(note i said may) :D

Respectable miles, most of 'em. Despicable, a few of 'em. Memorable, every single one! Buds, yeah, anything is possible. Heck, I even have a PM from Dave from a while back offering to buy me a beer if I was ever in Texas . . . . . Go figure!

Explaining Viper things to you
Looks like crap with your stupid white hood louvers. Your wheels are too big too.

Please substantiate your claim that I have white hood vents by providing an original picture link from me to such an item. You are otherwise a *****. And I doubt that many people would agree that 19" wheels on the front of a Viper are too big. Well, except a Honda owner :lmao:

I am not a VCA member that is a member area.

WOW:omg: I have been reading here for quite some time and I always know that I will see dave6666 post in just about every thread but I just realized you are not a VCA member. I always just assumed you were such an active forum member you were also a VCA member has this always been the case or or you just backing away from the vca for some reason? BTW I have always found your post entertaining so I hope you arent leaving the forum:2tu:

OH and to the OP your car looks good in my opinion but I am all show and no go so big wheels work for me and if I wanted to hit the track I would just take the 10 minutes it takes to change back to oem. Plus the huge acr wing helps offset the big wheels.

Sheesh...such conformity minded membership... Unless the critics would be willing to pay the man's Viper costs, he can do whatever he wants with it. It is his dime in a free country. Not my cup of tea, but hey, whatever floats your boat. In the end the Viper is a car, not a religion, though driving one at WOT, with its exhaust in full voice can be construed as a religious experience and testing one's limits within the car's performance envelope has also been known to be quite enlightening as well. There are a few different Vipers out there that are 24 lug twists, a set of oem wheels, and a coat of good paint away from fitting in quite nicely.;)
