It's a pretty strong celebrity field. Nascar celebs, drifting champion, Viper racers. Who's got the best shot at bringing home a win? Check out the info: http://www.prnewswire.com/news-rele...ersus-at-3-pm-edt-sunday-oct-9-131165748.html

Roger Penske, NASCAR drivers Kurt Busch, Brad Keselowski, Sam Hornish Jr.,Robbie Gordon, NHRA pro stock driver Allen Johnson; Hart and Huntington Racing team owner Carey Hart and his AMA Supercross rider Ivan Tedesco; Formula Drifter and TORC driver Samuel Hubinette; Viper factory driver Kuno Wittmer; Viper road-course racing driver/instructor Cindi Lux; monster truck pilot Mark Hall; and ARCA Series racer Maryeve Dufault.

Really cool show and Ralph gives the indication it will be run again ,which is a great idea. Fun to see Nebraskan Ted Hughes garner second place and for Ralph and Matt B. to score the win over all the Pros shows we have some talented pilots at Corporate. Looks like Dodge has a talented young lady in Maryeve Dufault (running ARCA) which could give Danica a run for her money on the track and for sponsorship deals!!

Great to see Cindi Lux getting to run with everyone, as she has been the Lead Instructor for many in the Viper Cup Series and that has kept her out of a car.

It was really fun to see the ACR-Xs being driven to the limits! I like that blond trophy girl, too! Num-num~

I don't think that wasn't very sporting of Bejnarowicz, poking his nose scarcely a foot under Sam Hs'rear at turn-in, spinning him off track. If that's all racing was, then it would just be bumper-cars. You wouldn't have to have any car control at all, all you would have to do is bomb each corner, and punt everyone at the apex. Use them for your braking, to scrub off speed, as they fly off track. Isn't there some kind of consensus, where if you're not at least a half a car length abreast of the car next to you at turn-in, then you shouldn't have your nose in there?

On the other hand, if that's just the way racing is, no rules, no penalties, then you'd better be driving a fully sponsored car, otherwise, your personal equpiment will get all banged up. (agressor or victim) Too rich for my blood.

It happens a lot and there are rules in most if not all forms of road racing governing those situations. The offender will get some type of penalty unless it's deemed a "racing incident".

Enjoyed it, but between the commercials and interviews it seemed like very little actual racing. Also surprised to see the NASCAResque apex bombing there, and it wasn't Kurt Busch that was doin' it!

BTW, what are those white "Michelin" sidewall-printed tires??? Pretty sweet at speed, IMO.

Knowing Matt Bejnarowicz and his respect for the skill of Samuel Hubinette, I would bet money after leading the race for quite awhile ( I was quite impressed with the skill he showed especially considering the Pro Competition ) , that going into the corner where he tapped Sammy , the car gets a bit light and he had a bit of red mist going when he finally got passed. Needless to say, not a good situation, as it might have kept Sammy and Ted Hughes off the top rung, but absolutely sure it was not intentional. Last thing Matt would want to do would be to come in as a last minute replacement and smack one of the cars that runs in the Viper Cup. Class guy and I would even venture to bet there were apologies all the way around to the drivers who experienced his accidental chrome horn.
