Well.. I wasnt going to buy a 2013 and I didnt order one. But........My local SRT Dealer just got a 2013 Launch Edition in..and Saturday morning I was the first one there in the showroom drooling.... Honestly I am NOT totaly in love with all the design aspects of the car. My 2010 Blue w/ white stripes I really like! especially the hood and the edgy sharp angle side quarter panel design. However...I love the technology and upgrades of the new 2013. over the next hour or so of drooling..., my new best Friends at Arrigo Dodge in West Palm Beach, Fl. made me a deal I couldn't refuse.. so my 2010 Blue w/ white stripes ( in perfect condition w/ 1,300 miles ) was sacrificed in order for me to be able to do the deal....

I know ..I know.. stop talking and show me some pics ....here you go

I still haven't even scratch the surface of knowing what all the options are for the available data screens..However, I thought the time slip recorder was very cool

Probably not as much as if I sold it privately . However, taking into consideration the sales tax savings as a trade and the fact that I could drive away in a 2013 LE right then and there..... it was good enough for me..

Wow they are using old parts :omg:

Not old parts ..just the previous mold for the casting....
Not sure if they are all like this ? or if the mold will be changed in the future with the new logo..I am sure it will at some point...However, it doesn't bother me as its a brand new part.

Congrats!!!
It's funny. Others who have put in their order a long time ago are still waiting for their delivery. Any you just walk into the dealership and get your Viper.
LE looks fantastic! Definitely the right choice :2tu:

Congrats on the upgrade! Fangs logo doesn't bother me, there is still a Sneaky Pete logo cast into the side of the transmission. Good to have all generations representing!

Agree, are going to preserve it in the garage like a mummy or give it some exercise? Judging that you only had a whole lot of 1300 miles on 2010. Beautiful car otherwise. :2tu:

I know, I know... I want to drive it ( them) ..Its just I want to keep them perfect...... I am trying to muster up enough will to peal the window sticker off..:omg:

awesome!!! And I Love Love Love that Car Cover!!!!

Yes its a spandex type silky material with a real soft fleece/cotton type underbelly.... An indoor cover only..but that's 99% of my usage for one so its cool.....
wish the color was closer to the GTS blue color.....as the cover is a little "smurfy"..:dunno:

hee hee. Yours was standard on the LE? On my GTS order I had to choose it and pay for it as an option. Not sure what it even looks like. Hoping for a stryker logo on the front.

Well, at least they tried...my Ferrari is TdF Blue but the cover is very Ferrari RED.

Seriously, though, while I'm happy for you, I admit to being a little miffed, as I'm sure many are, that you just walked in and bought one at MSRP while we are all waiting patiently for our "orders" to come down the line at some point in the future. Stuck in "I" for close to 3 weeks now. C'mon SRT, get 'em moving!

1300 miles on a 2010 600 hp Viper. Probably spent 2-3k per mile. That would feel worse to me not getting my moneys worth.

sorry bluestreak... I dont quantify " Viper ownership" based on dollars per mile.... in fact it brings me just as much joy
owning ,looking at it, detailing it and talking about it. Its like a work of art to me. And the miles I do put on it are purposeful miles.... Im just not going to rack up unnessacary miles driving to work, run errands , going here going there...some people have to show off..I dont.( not saying you do ) Just saying for me and others like me the once or twice a month hell ride along with the every moment of the day I enjoy the car thinking about it and looking at it in my garage or driveway .. is more than enough of a value ratio to me... there is nothing else I would rather spend my money on ( except family of course, they are always taken care of first)
