VIN - another "where is it?" thread.
The trucks have a metal vin tag behind the pass headlight. Has paint code and other info also. Pic attached. Do you see the edge of anything like that anywhere on the frame?- BadAzp

Pikes Peak trip
Why would they lock out the inputs? Every car in the world adapts its F/A as you drive, thats why fuel injection runs better than a carb set to one point. Even with a carb people have driven up pikes peak with no drivability issues- BadAzp

After 3 blown engines... Is the nightmare over?

05 rods not fit 03 block
Edited - 03 rods and pistons are definitely different shapes. Last one is 05, very squareded off, significantly bigger than 03- BadAzp

Then your clearancing the bottoms of the bores so the rod can get up into the cylinder. This is door stop contact with the oil galley, i dont know how thick it is right there. Then i still have the 04 crank bearing tolerance changes.- BadAzp
