"I don't understand why anyone would want to just buy the newest Viper when that..."

Re: "I don't understand why anyone would want to just buy the newest Viper when that. When I bought my GTS I still had a C5 Z06, which was commonly referred to as the "door wedge".. I kept the shoe..

How does everyone like there side sills.....

When I did my conversion, I traded mine with another guy for Gen I sills. Worked out really well, and it only cost me to have them painted Blue/Black.. That way I can say I still have OEM side sills, kind of .. There are several people on this site that are willing to do this..

    V10 H.O. Ignition Coil Packs

I just ordered some today, I will post any results after install. Five minutes after I ordered them my wife texted me from work yelling at me for spending more money on the car I was considering selling!! I had to tell her I found a crack in my stock coil packs upon inspection... Does this...

Two best gauges to add to a pillar gauge pod

I guess it was partially for looks, and partially because I like having a lot of information / instruments to look at (used to be a pilot)..I just like that kind of stuff.. The A/F sounds intriguing, but would it really do anything for me if I'm not tuning the car past bolt ons and a stock PCM?

Two best gauges to add to a pillar gauge pod

Oh I forgot to mention funds are limited, so the A/F gauge with the o2 sensor kit is more than what I wanted for now.. Maybe fuel pressure?

Two best gauges to add to a pillar gauge pod

I'm purchasing two Autometer gauges to fill a pillar mounted gauge pod I bought for the GTS, and was wondering what the experts on this site think the two best choices would be? I was thinking an Oil Temp gauge and something else, but not sure what, there are so many choices! The pod takes 2...

    V10 H.O. Ignition Coil Packs

Has anyone tried these, or thinks it would be a benefit to our cars. I've always wondered about the stock ignition systems on these cars, and a way to make it more powerful. Back in the day, a better coil, distributor, etc would seem to make a slight difference in performance. I used to use...

    What mods do you regret?

+1 on this..The bucking is annoying, and I'm not sure the gains are worth it unless you track alot, which I don't yet do..Sometimes I have to just engage the clutch to keep it from bucking like a bronco in my 'hood..they're gonna think I have hydraulics :lmao: With that being said, it revs...

800HP Shelby for 2012 I hope the Viper tops it

Gotta love Ford, and I would enjoy the heck out of that thing!! With that being said, they keep packing on the HP but it's still a heavy, solid axle, beast without enough rubber. Reminds me of a bodybuilder who never works out his legs, but keeps getting a bigger upper body. The car lacks...

2013 Dodge Viper coming in late 2012, stability control confirmed >>

Just makes our old Vipers without all the nanny state controls more exclusive, and more desireable in the future...Yeah you can probably turn it off, but the default is likely going to be on, and I believe some of these systems still retain some control over the vehicle even when you think you...

Barret Jackson not such a good deal anymore..

I did end up with State Farm. There are mileage restrictions, however they won't be a problem for me. There also is not glass coverage. So the price is gonna be $42.42 a month, which sounds a lot better than the up front cost of Hagerty ($1013.00). There was an issue initially with getting...

Barret Jackson not such a good deal anymore..

For all of you who got in early, congratulations, because their new rate quotes are quite a bit higher. I called because my quote was 1013.00 for one year of coverage for my '97 GTS, 45K agreed value, no accidents, tickets, garaged, etc etc.. I get this deal now with Hagerty. So the BJ woman...

Re: Gauging Interest on Gen 2 Rear Diffusor Blades Maybe you're right Dave, I'll probably just go back down to four, don't want the rear to look too busy/ ricey :)
