I have the old style Borla (I think the first version ever made for the Viper) and it is very noticeably louder than stock! I had it installed many years ago along with headers, Hennessy air box, smooth tubes and cat delete. Given the "lumpy' cam of the "96" it has a very throaty loping idle of...
Have a long crack in the windshield on driver side (I know this might be impossible to find) and driver side wiper motor. Got caught in a rain storm and the wipers got tangled so had to drive home without them. It is the driver side motor that has failed.
Thanks for any help.
If I can't ship my car there I can't attend (work schedule won't allow it). However, I can drive home unless that will affect everyones shipping costs. Just renewed my membership (a little late!) and haven't registered for VOI.

I was quite surprised to see a red and black ACR with a big wing going north on I 405 Thursday afternoon. I pulled up beside him but didn't recognize him - older gentleman who kind of reminded me of the guy with the yellow GTS that got high-centered at Tom P. 's house a few years ago. He got off...
This rattle from the center of the dash was driving me crazy so I took the car ('06 FE coupe) in to the local Chrysler dealer (no Viper tech but an excellent service dept. and good rapport with the service folks). The tech had never worked on a Viper before but found the problem and fixed it ...
ViperArry,
Where did you get the very first picture in your post - The red RT/10 in the show room? That picture looks exactly like the show room of Lynnwood Dodge in Washington state and the RT/10 looks like my '94 which I traded in on the First Edition SRT/10 Coupe. Also, the black '96 RT/10...
I just got the cheap flat plates for my '96 as well. It seems to me that since the $30 tab initiative was passed they have found ways to add "fees" to grab more money from us. Our 300C had an excess weight fee of $20 or so. I can see requiring a new plate if yours is damaged but mine (and yours...
To run the unlimited class in the Silver State you need extensive safety modifications to your car - full roll cage, fuel cell, fire supression system, etc. Most people are not going to do that to their street car. I believe the same is true for the salt flats. You also are running against a...
I am a friend of Scott and I know that he has a Paxton on his car ('97 blue/white RT/10). You may be confusing him with Bud (also a friend) who has a Roe, nitrous and a whole bunch of other stuff on his '96 GTS. I haven't seen dyno sheets on either one but I don't think they have close to 1000...
I've been here since 2000 and have learned a ton from you guys (and hopefully given a little in return). I can't foresee the day when there won't be at least one Viper in my garage.
