According to their site, a Purolator filters have two pressure relief ratings basic 12-18 and "Boss" 20 - 30psi. I find that hard to believe, (most filters, even Frams run at least 85psi) but if it is so, then with the Viper hot engine temp of 50-70psi putting a "Boss" Purolator filter is...- Bonkers

Thats interesting because up until recently Mobil did not recommend their filters for the Viper because of the Valve Pressure being too low. It only changed about five years ago. I am waiting for them to get back with me on confirmation but they will not put into writing the M1-204 is a...- Bonkers

It absolutely does. Guys like Tator, JonB, Sawyer, Savakinas, and Havik will all... at the VERY least will physically look at the filters before they ship them out. There is a good chance that the retailers will have them shipped directly to you through a network of people they dont even talk...- Bonkers

Dont be. M1 and Wix XP filters are perfectly acceptable in a pinch. Was the OEM a 05037836AB or 05037836AC model? How much of a financial “burden” has your GTS been?
Also keep in mind two things A) my purchase price was very, very low, 2) my repair costs were way way high - both for the same reason...
