Ok...took the snake out today and @ cruise AFR is @ 15.4...idle @ 14.5 and WOT @ 11.8-12.2 AFR. Sound OK?- bumblebee

The car has a VEC 2 and autometer wideband...I thought the higher the number the richer it is.. I would not think 14 would blow motor because it is rich and running plenty of fuel?....- bumblebee

sounds like detonation...I had a supercharged 2000 Silverado and a supercharged 96 SS camaro.....It sounded like popcorn popping when engine was detonating- bumblebee

nope..that is what the gauge has said since day one!..it drops to lower 14 when wide open and boost gauge reades 7lbs with the 5lbs pulley:dunno:- bumblebee
