    Speed Channel (Test drive 2013 SRT Viper)

    I turned on Speed at 6:30. It was a 30 minute infomercial for a glorified OBD scanner called Car MD or something like that.

    My 1st vids from VOI12, auto X and Road Course.

    I didn't take a Viper, so I drove SRT cars. Lots of Auto-X runs on Sunday. Best Auto-X time 43.1 in one of the 300s. 45.6 was best Grand Cherokee time. G/C is great fun, but heavy!!! Best Auto-X time in a Viper 51.0. I drove my friend's '99 GTS in the rain Saturday! Roval was a blast. I...

    My car competed, but not me. John Freeman used to own it, and he did at least one UTCC at VIR a few summers ago. I think he's still a member of this forum. I'm seeing him at lunch today. I'll mention your post.

    New viper will handle low boost supercharger and turbo kits!!!

    Don't add forced induction. Instead, gut the hell outta the car yourself. Lighten it up by 400-500 LBs, and the stock HP/TQ will be quite nice. The cup holders, cruise control, NAV, stereo, A/C, door panels, carpet, passenger seat, insulation, head liner, etc... If that doesn't do enough...

    Mine are braided steel - was this ACR-specific? One of these hoses sprung a leak. I guess that happens after beating the snot out of a car on the track for 10 years. Anyone know where I can get replacements? I figured I would try to find originals before I find a shop to make new ones. TIA...

    New Viper is huge letdown

    The car is awesome. We're lucky a 2013 Viper exists at all. This one is a home freakin' run! The race car absolutely blows me away. Amazing...great to see Viper back in ALMS! To all at SRT, Chrysler and Fiat - a heartfelt THANKS!
