Finally pulled the trigger and got an 05 with a paxton.

This man speaks the truth... A dyno is just a tuning tool, regardless of the make and model. Therefore power numbers from a dyno are irrelevant. Well, maybe not irrelevant... but, if you want to know how much power something is making, simply follow what physics has to say about it.

It's the dyno. Read how mustang dyno's work and you will understand. Also it has Gen 4 exhaust so it doesn't get as hot in the car. I'm assuming that's what you meant by "ring of fire"? Also, regardless of true power numbers, I can tell you this. With 345 Nitto Invos you can just roll into the...

Well, I've been watching and hunting for the last two months. Then a silver 05 popped popped up with mods. Nothing super special about this SRt-10, but It had lots of the major mods I wanted for what I considered to be a smoking deal. Paxton kit **** kit KW Variant 2 coilovers CCW forged...

Getting Ready to Buy my first Viper

I don't know if knowing what the previous owner let it go for really gives you a bargaining chip. It's good piece of mind, but ultimately, the dealership already knows the least amount they will accept. If they don't sell it to you for that price or better, then they will just hold onto it. For...

Getting Ready to Buy my first Viper

You can run Comp oil-less turbo's. Those things are pretty bad ass. Pricey, but man... the mounting versatility is amazing. As far as the "Interior upgrades" of the 99, I've read a few posts where people didn't even notice the difference in interior between 97 to 98 to 99. So I personally...

Paxton Supercharged 2006 Coupe Build Thread

This is a fantastic thread. Very informative. As stated in the very first post, there is a lot of searching I do, and I just come across the same results of people not really knowing what they are talking about. I'm hoping my refreshing of this thread will bring about some updates.

    Omg.. somebody know about this?

I have mixed feelings about that car. I think it's ridiculous and pretty sweet, at the same time. LOL

Trying to figure out this supercharged gen 1.5 RT10. Gen 1 motor with a supercharger?

http://denver.craigslist.org/search/sss?query=dodge+viper+supercharged&sort=rel So searching for this info is proving to be pretty tough. I'm trying to figure what engine this car has. Is it a Gen 1, or a forged gen 2? If I'm not mistaken, the Gen 1's had different heads than the Gen 2...

    08 with 6,550 mile for only $32,600???

Well, a gen 3 viper is right around the same price as a 2009-20014 CTS-V. And CTS-V's are some pretty badass Caddy's at 556hp. Oh and TalonTsi90, They stopped production on the gen 3 after 06. There was no 2007 Viper, then the gen 4 picked up for the model year 2008.

    08 with 6,550 mile for only $32,600???

Zaccone Motors has an 08 with only 6,550 miles for $32,600. Normally I don't post up when I see deals cause I don't want to get snaked (pun intended), but if someone here grabs this I won't feel too bad. To me this seems like a ridiculous deal. I thought scam at first, but found some reviews...

    Headers on sale!

LOL, I've got a set of Kooks on my 04 GTO right now. No cats on that one with 3" duals all the way back. Kooks is one of those companies that actually engineers their headers.

    Motor questions

The TR6060 is the T56 Magnum. It has 30% more gear area to handle more torque, better internals and the case is thicker to handle more torque. The output shaft is a larger 31 spline shaft instead of the older Viper spec T56 at 30 spline. Tremec rates the 6060/Magnum transmission at 700ft/lbs in...

    Introduction and looking for opinions

So I accidentally stumbled upon some info. From what I read on this forum from other members posting their thoughts... It seems as though the first 200 coupes that were produced in model year 2006 were numbered 1-200 and were all blue with white stripes and dubbed "Heart Stoppers". Here is...
