I called my local Dodge Dealer -- I have purchased and had serviced many vehicles from them and it helped.
My service tech says the car looks clean as far as Dodge records indicate. He gave me the name of the prior owner in TN.
I did some sloothing and found out that the pervious owner...

The CarFax ( I don't put much trust in CarFax ) indicates no accidents, 2 owners -- originally a California Car, then to Tennessee. Now a dealership in NC has it for sale...
I think you're right about the 1995's. I keep looking around -- they are even more rare.

A/C is not negotiable – I won’t look at a car without it. Even my Honda CRX (which is STILL completely stock – except I added a radio and speakers) has A/C – and I was a dirt poor, in debt college grad when I insisted it had A/C.

The reason behind my preference for a 94/95 is as follows:
I really want A/C -- even though I'll rarely use it. I think the radiant heat from the side pipe might make the car uncomfortable on long ride out to the desert.
