I'm not finding a region forum that covers the Midwest, specifically Chicago area. I would like to get input from some local Viper owners for a performance shop to tune my '05 that has a new motor and the shop that did the work left me hanging on setup.
Thanks for the info Final GTS on the gen3 to gen4 swap. That is what I wanted to know. This is definitely not something I am looking at doing myself as I am not a mechanic. Was just curious if it was worth entertaining the idea. If it was roughly close to cost to rebuild my gen 3 motor I...

CONSIDERABLE difference. Easily an extra 5-8K in parts, not including the computer or wiring. You...
Came across this in my search for info on Gen 3 engine builds. What ever came of this build? How has the motor performed since the build? Still together? In the process of building my motor now, but not sure on what internals and how far to go with it. Want durability, but also big HP and...
Nine Ball - You are the 2nd person who recommended SpeedInc. I guy I know who drag races a Camaro has his engine work done there. Are you familiar with their shop? Rather than have them do all the work are you suggesting sending it to a Viper specific builder?

I agree with what you are saying Final GTS; however, Arrow is a reputable company. In fact my last rebuild was warranty and that is who Dodge required me to have rebuild the engine. And yet here I am posting a note for any suggestions on another rebuild within a short period of time (in my...
Just blew my motor this weekend and need to find someone local that knows the Gen3 motor, but won't cost me a ton. Any suggestions appreciated.
Not sure what happened, but assume a couple cylinders spun a bearing (only because I had this exact same thing happen a couple years ago with this...

I'd be interested in a set of four; however, I am looking to use them on my Gen3 as replacements for the mangled set I have now. Are these the same shape, size, mounting holes, etc as the OEM on Gen3's?
