    What's the easiest way to get the cover plate off? Mine is on very tight, I tried with a screwdriver but I don't want to scuff up the console, so I didn't try very hard. Second question what exactly is behind there? I want to see if I can mount my iPhone in there somehow so I can use harrys...

    Gen IV PCM removal

    It's 3 screws and once the cover plate is off there are 4 plugs. There are clips on each plug that you slide to release them. I changed it many times without disconnecting my battery with no problems, but do that at your own risk.

    Thanks that's good to know. My first choice is to take it to Tator but its an hour and a half ride each way which is tough to do. Another tip, I get my alignment done at TKX performance in Huntington, its a porche bmw shop but they specialize in setting up cars for the track
