Are all of the above people running the 3.07 gear? If despite horsepower increases, the times are all in the mid 11's, then why would anyone ever consider changing to a more aggressive gear? Just keep the 3.07 and save the money for another set of tires and wheels that hook.
I am soon going to purchase a 3 inch exhaust system. With the exception of sound, is there really any difference between the systems?
Which has the best fit and finish?
Which makes most power?
Which sounds the best?

Similar story for me. I was at 127 in a Vette and my girlfriend (now wife) was thumbing through her book.
Thats when I knew I needed to marry this one.
If you had a stock 708 camshaft and your other mods as you have listed how much less power would you have. In other words, how much do you think your camshaft provided over a stock 708 camshaft?

Funny, I have had several Vettes (fast ones too) and a few Vipers (all have been stock to date). I agree with the music thing on weekends and on way home from long day work. Take the wife out and different story.

Not sure the power gain with the extra noise is worth it.

I am in process of purchasing a 99 GTS. I am considering K&N, smooth tubes, high flow cats and cat back system. How much power should I expect and do you think work the time and money.
