See attached photo. Clear coat over the chrome may be the case. In the photo attached you can see a shining surface under the clear coat and then tire mounting machine could scratch the clear coat.. If it is clear coat may be able to machine polish. Thank you- Starship Trooper

Thank You. The parts manager at my local Dodge dealership said the same. He told me that it should work as long as the pins align. I will let you know the out come.- Starship Trooper

GEN 3 2006 Rims
We have a full set of Chrome Rims for sale. Here is the story. Purchased in 2007 OEM Chrome Rims. Used as a second set for different tires, minimum use. Just recently we cleaned them and discovered that they were painted over with chrome paint and a clear coat. AHH!...Willing to sell as is vs...- Starship Trooper
