    What's a RB1 Navigation worth?

I bought one in 2005 or 2006 for $425 - it was a take out item from a dealership. I installed that & Sirius in my 04 Ram. Spent another $200 on the sirius equipment & wiring.

    2001 R/T Value?

I haven't been on here as often lately nor do I really trust "ebay" prices. Long story short: Dad's business is sucking ass in this economy. He has a '42 Pontiac Silver Streak (project car, acid dipped & worked on by a well known restoration & rod shop) or the 2001 Viper R/T ( I think...

    RB1 Nav question . . .

Yes! Turn the little NAV knob until you get to the right side of the screen. The Right side should have an i ( INFORMATION) logo. Hit enter on that, it'll show ETA and total miles to go!

    Sirius activation question

if it's a Dodge RB1 deck: Press the CD/AUX button until the "SAT" feature is displayed on the screen. Highlight SET using the Knob Press the cancel button 4 times. The ESN serial number will be displayed Give Sirius that number. Thats off the paperwork i got with my RB1 when i put it in my truck.

    K&N Cleaning Filters?

I always wash my K&N's out into a garbage pale. Mine is white, so I get to see all the junk and #$&#$ that comes outa it!

another GenIII bites the dust. :-(

...to make matters worse, I ran at RA in a circle track stock car meant to turn left. We just took the lead from the left side frame rail and put it all on the right side to balance it as much as we could. Turning right? Who does that?:lmao:

another GenIII bites the dust. :-(

I've been to RA twice on Hoosier F75 slicks. I can't imagine taking the kink flat out. That definitely has to have a pucker factor.

another GenIII bites the dust. :-(

Edit - I just realized we're talking about two different wrecks. I have a picture on my phone. Most of the damage was to the Right Rear corner of the car, including the rear end/axle.

another GenIII bites the dust. :-(

I just got news that a Gen III went off the track up in the kink and wacked the wall at Road America. It's totaled, but the driver is OK. Blue with white stripes. Thats all I know as of right now...

    how to pop rivets?

No, It just helps with the modial interaction of magneto reluctance and capacitive deractance. :2tu: It's all about the turbo encabulator.:headbang: ....but no, seriously, you won't see the HP gains until you put a coat of Zaino on the colored rivets.

    how to pop rivets?

I can't say for sure what size the Viper rivets are, but I would guess that they would be 3/16. Most automotive rivets are either 1/8 or 3/16. The best way to take out the rivet it to use the appropriate size drill bit, but carefully drilling to just break the head ( the visible flat ) part of...

    Dumb mistake, please help.

YES. I usually break mine in half. Put one half in a ziplock back, and then use the other half. You might use both, but regardless - if you drop one of the halves - THROW IT OUT, and start with the new one. If your car has never seen a clar bar, I would suggest on planning to use both...

Head and neck restraints; lessons from my wreck

I race circle-track race cars, and will never race without a HANS. I'm thankful that I made my HANS purchase before my hard wreck, rather than after. I learned exactly how valuable a HANS device is almost a year ago.. Coming to the green flag, a guy a few cars ahead of me had ran into the...

    In car video camera question

I race roundy-rounds on the local short track. We use a Kodak EasyShare digital camera with a large memory card to film our in-car footage. Works decent, and it's not as expensive as some of the in-car systems. If I had the cash for it, I'd probably look into a nice bullet cam system though.
