Viper vs new Z06
Vipers been proven faster. At the end of the day they have identical power and the viper weighs 200 pounds less. No big surprise here. Thank you very much Dodge and Nineball. Its a great day when your Lamborghini owning buddy has to call you to say holy **** and concede victory- Twister

Actually a lot faster than the gtr. The z06...ect Its just really sad how many people post on car forums snd dont really understand the concepts of speed- Twister

Snakebitten. Please tell me what cars are faster in the straights? My God..... Please let me say this a final time... That 10.8 or 11.4 ect. Simply tells you how good the traction was and how fast the shifts were. That 127-130 mph tells you how fast the car actually is based on power to...- Twister

DeWitt.. Well said. Rather my gen 2 or gen 3 the vipers have that presence that cant really be described by statistics. I remember my srt taking a lil fame away from a gallardo. On the other end of the spectrum..my built corvette with racing stripes ect couldnt even get noticed next to a...- Twister

Geeze.....stock for stock from a 60-140 roll it is as fast or faster than all the cars mentioned.. Naturally aspirated no less. I just dont get it.... 11.4 in florida is very fast. Those tracks are very slow do to density altitude. An 11.4 in Florida would be a 10.8 at MIR on a negative density altitude day- Twister

As far as I know...only two or three guys ever went and drag raced their vipers and posted here. They were all in y he 10.9-11.5 range at 127-130 mph. For a rear wheeled manual that is sick. As well the genV is in videos door to door from a rolling start with the 180 k Porsche. Again...- Twister

Viper Jon you are correct. But in the past two years Ive been trying to make up my mind I put away enough money to pay cash on a gen V. The funny thing is that when you actually do have the cash.....its hard to part with. Not a high roller by any means whatsoever. But sometimes it pays to...- Twister

The simple fact is that its a very nice looking car with a very nice interior and a V10 with 645 hp...it has ran 10s stock by a private owner and is the fastest car ever on several tracks... Viper Will NO Longer Depreciate
09 gtr sell for 55-60k. Fat from the 67 k they sold for new. But because of increases in sales price anyone who actually got one for that price has to be smiling. 08 viper buyers did well as well. 90k 6 years ago and can still sell for 60k. Thats awesome compared to most cars.- Twister
